Niall A. Trainor, MA, RRP, CVRP (F) is the principal consultant at Trainor Vocational Consulting Corp. Niall conducts vocational assessments of injured workers, provides vocational counselling, and prepares reports used in litigation. He also works with employers to assess prospective job candidates through the administration of standardized testing used to measure critical job skills such as literacy, numeracy, spatial ability, and mechanical reasoning.
Niall obtained a Master of Arts degree in Sociology in 1983, specialized in the areas of social psychology, social research methods, and the sociology of work. He is a Registered Rehabilitation Professional (RRP) and has been a member in good standing of the Vocational Rehabilitation Association of Canada since January 1993. He is also a member in good standing of the Canadian College of Vocational Rehabilitation Professionals and holds the designation of Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Professional (Fellow). Niall has more than 35 years of practical experience as a Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant in the not-for-profit and private sectors. During his career he has assessed and counselled more than 5,000 workers with multiple employment barriers, worked collaboratively as a member of multidisciplinary teams, written more than 2,000 vocational rehabilitation reports for legal purposes, and has appeared as an independent, expert witness in the Supreme Court of British Columbia since 1995.
Kim Eyrl, BA, MSc obtained a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology in 1991, with special expertise in chronic pain. She has more than 24 years of work experience as a Vocational Consultant and Psychometrician including more than 13 years of experience with Trainor Vocational Consulting. Kim works in our Vancouver office where she administers vocational interest, aptitude and academic achievement testing to our clients. She also assists with assimilating background information on clients, and report production.
Betty Andersen, BSc, MA works in our Victoria office where she administers vocational interest, aptitude and academic achievement testing to our clients. Betty holds the Degrees of Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts (Counselling Psychology). She is a Registered Psychologist and a Registered Clinical Counsellor in British Columbia. Betty has more than 30 years of experience working with adults and more than 13 years with Trainor Vocational Consulting.
Brenda Trainor, has been fulfilling the role of Office Manager at Trainor Vocational Consulting since its inception in 2003. She multitasks from our main office in Airdrie, Alberta. In addition to booking assessments, she manages logistics and is responsible for office administration, bookkeeping, and liaison with clients and suppliers.
